How Red Rock Webscapes Works: Our Process From Call to Launch
Most people never find out how an agency works until they are already inside a project, wondering why nobody has called them back. This is the whole process, written down, so you know what happens and when.
The first conversation is a conversation
You call, or you send a message, and you describe your business. There is no discovery fee and no obligation at this stage. We are trying to establish what the site needs to do, who it is for, and what is currently in your way. A contractor in Summerlin with a portfolio of twenty finished jobs needs something different from a dental office in Henderson trying to get more new patient calls, and the difference matters more than any layout decision that follows.
Two things are true here. The person you talk to is the person doing the work; we do not run a sales team that hands your project to a department you will never reach. And we publish our prices, so you are not negotiating blind. If what you need is the cheapest thing on the list, we will say so rather than talk you up a tier.
Scope, then a written proposal
Once we know what you need, we scope it. The proposal states what will be built, what is explicitly not included, the price, and the timeline. If a custom feature moves the estimate, you hear that now, not on the invoice. We would rather lose a deal in this conversation than win it and spend a year being the agency nobody recommends.
How payment works
On custom web design and e-commerce projects, payment runs on milestones so you are never locked into a large payment before you have seen and approved actual work:
| At kickoff | 20% down |
|---|---|
| At design approval | 50% |
| At build complete | 20% |
| At launch | 10% to deploy |
The middle payment lands at design approval on purpose. That is the point where you see what you are buying before the majority of the money has moved, and it is why we spend real effort on getting the design right before the build starts.
The build, and the review you actually get
Discovery first, then design, then build, then launch and support. Wireframes come before visuals, so structure and flow get settled while they are still cheap to change. You see the direction before a line of code exists.
Revisions are included at each stage rather than treated as a favor. Feedback is expected, and it is a normal part of the process rather than a confrontation. We would rather run a second round of revisions on a design than ship something you quietly dislike, because a site you are not proud of is a site you will not maintain.
Two timelines, because these are not the same project
The Website Launchpad delivers a custom business site in 7 to 10 business days on a structured intake: you submit your details, domain preference, logo, photos, and copy, or you use our industry starter copy and edit it later. That timeline holds because the scope is fixed and the inputs arrive promptly.
A fully custom build runs longer, because the scope is not fixed at the start. If you need custom integrations or a feature nobody has built before, we scope it, and we tell you how long it takes and what it costs before any of it begins. Small single-page projects are paid up front, the one exception to the milestone structure.
Launch, and then what
Every package includes an SSL certificate, analytics setup, mobile-first responsive design, and 30 days of post-launch support. We launch together and we stay reachable after it, because a website is not a product you buy once. It needs hosting that stays fast, security patches that keep arriving, and someone to call when a form stops working at 4pm on a Friday.
If you want to start, call us, or tell us what the site needs to do in a few sentences. We will tell you the smallest package that actually solves it, including when the honest answer is that you do not need the thing you called about.
